This article attempts to interpret 'Reconstruction', the film made by Danish Christoffer Boe. The author examines the concept of play, citing the classic texts on the issue by Johan Huizinga and Gerardus van deer Leeuw. The film is presented as a special play between the author and a work of art. To search interpretation tropes, the author is willing to consider Reconstruction as a cinematic follow-up to an Orphic myth but at the same time shows its strong and weak points of the comparison.
