The article researches the etymologies of one oikonym and one microtoponym used several times in Northern Bavaria. Traditionally they were said to have Slavic etymologies, but the 2015 PhD thesis by J. Andraschke (publ. 2016) claimed them to have German(ic) etymologies. The comparison of the different etymologies shows clearly that the Slavic ones are to be preferred over the decidedly weaker German(ic) ones. The names go back to CSlav. *Čьrnidel(ьnik)ъ and *Dolьnica respectively.

Článek se soustředí na místní jméno Schirnaidel a víckrát doložené pomístní jméno Dölnitz na severu Bavorska. Srovnávány jsou tradiční slovanské etymologie těchto jmen s novými germánskými etymologiemi, které předložil autor disertace J. Andraschke roku 2015 (publikovaná v roce 2016). Srovnání jasně ukazuje, že výklady na základě slovanské etymologie jsou pravděpodobnější. Jména vznikla z obecně slovanských jmen *Čьrnidel(ьnik)ъ, respektive *Dolьnica.

Článek se zaměřuje na místní jména Teuchatz a Treunitz na severovýchodu Bavorska. Srovnávány jsou zde tradiční slovanské etymologie těchto jmen s novými germánskými výklady, které předložil J.
