The article recalls Halina Rutska on the occasion of her 150th birth anniversary. She lived in Płock from 1888 to her death in 1932 and worked for the Scientific Society of Płock for 25 years without any remuneration. Rutska devoted all her life to the preservation of the Polish cultural heritage. She was the Member of the Board of the Scientific Society of Płock, the guardian and the librarian of the Zieliński Library, the organizer and the first curator of the Museum at the Scientific Society of Płock (officially opened in 1912) and the administrator of the Society’s assets. Halina Rutska was also involved in charitable activity.

Sto pięćdziesiąt lat temu urodziła się Halina Rutska, działaczka społeczna, Członek Zarządu Towarzystwa Naukowego Płockiego, administratorka nieruchomości TNP, organizatorka Biblioteki im. Zielińskich TNP, twórczyni Muzeum Mazowsza Płockiego Towarzystwa Naukowego Płockiego oraz pierwsza kustosz tego Muzeum.
