Polish musicians - both those who came to London or to other places in Great Britain in recent years from Poland, as well as those who were born and raised here – have their own place and o¢en achieve signicant successes on the London or English jazz scenes, often marking their presence in a very expressive and inspiring way. ey are talented, educated and o¢en endowed with interesting personalities, and that makes that a local jazz community welcomes them in a warm and open way. They present high standards, and that enables them to collaborate with outstanding musicians of both the London and the European jazz scene. eir Polish cultural legacy is not a burden for them, but rather a kind of an asset on the multicultural London scene, and many of them are o¢en involved in music or artistic projects related to the Polishness or to the Polish jazz club at POSK in London. e most important thing for many of them seems to be present in the rich, multicultural world of sounds, and they seem to be predisposed and prepared excellently for it.
