The achievement of a high level of quality depends on the way of management. Common Assessment Framework presented in the article is a tool in the Total Quality Management and is based on an assumption that the achievement of the desired results and actions of an organization depends on the quality of leadership affecting the policy and strategy, workforce, interpersonal relations, resources and processes. Health care units can use this method to enhance management and develop their own strong brand in the field of improvement of medical services quality. The article is thus aimed at presenting the use of CAF in the Total Quality Management in a hospital as an example health care unit.
