Wybrane społeczno-ekonomiczne Uwarunkowania dywersyfikacji portfela aktywów finansowych gospodarstw domowych

W niniejszym artykule skoncentrowano się na kwestii społeczno-ekonomicznej uwarunkowań implementacji dywersyfikacji portfela aktywów finansowych gospodarstw domowych. Za główny cel opracowania przyjęto określenie związku między wybranymi elementami charakterystyki społeczno-ekonomicznej gospodarstw domowych (dochody gospodarstwa domowego, wiek i wykształcenie głowy gospodarstwa domowego) a dywersyfikacją portfela aktywów w Polsce oraz strefie euro. Do analizy wykorzystano mikroekonomiczne dane pochodzące z badań Diagnoza Społeczna i HFCS (The Eurosystem Household Finance and Consumption Survey). Wykazano silną zależność między dochodami gospodarstwa domowego oraz wykształceniem i wiekiem głowy gospodarstwa domowego a skłonnością do dywersyfikacji portfela.

This paper sheds light on the households portfolio structure in the context of households socioeconomic characteristics. The main purpose of this article is to provide some insight to the relationship between households socioeconomic characteristics and portfolio diversification in Poland and in the euro area. An analysis of this issue is accomplished with the help of detailed microdata. Social Diagnosis and HFCS (The Eurosystem Household Finance and Consumption Survey) data are used. Household income, education and age are shown to have a significant influence on the level of households portfolio diversification.
