„Kobiety to piękne, zmysłowe istoty”. Obraz kobiecego ciała w lesbijskich poradnikach seksualnych

Artykuł ukazuje w jaki sposób przedstawia się kobiety i ich ciała w wydanych w Polsce poradnikach seksualnych dla nieheteronormatywnych kobiet. Wyidealizowany obraz kobiety, który się z nich wyłania, znacząco odbiega od negatywnego wyobrażenia na ich temat wynikającego z Biblii i tekstów znanych ojców Kościoła, które stanowią fundament tradycyjnego światopoglądu dużej części społeczeństwa polskiego. Autorka na tle tekstów myślicieli chrześcijańskich, które zawierają elementy mizoginii oraz homofobii, prezentuje fragmenty współczesnych publikacji, które w pełni afirmują żeńskie ciało i stosunki homoseksualne. Ta aprobata kobiecości kontrastuje także ze współczesnym ideałem super szczupłej modelki. Współczesne poradniki jawią się więc jako pomoc w samoakceptacji.

The aim of the article is to present how women and their bodies are depicted in the sex guidebooks for non-heteronormative females published in Poland. The highly idealized picture of women which emerges from such books contradicts the image of female in the Bible or other Christian texts. The traditional Christian ideology is relatively popular in polish society. The author tries to show nowadays publications, which affirm female body and homosexual relations, on the background of misogynic and homophobic Christian views. This full approval of femininity contrasts also with nowadays ideal of super-slim model. Therefore modern handbooks seem to be helpful in the process of the self-acceptation.
