Menedżer wykorzystuje kluczowe kompetencje na równych polach aktywności zawodowej, oferuje pracodawcy przewagę wartości osiągniętych kompetencji. W zamian oczekuje od pracodawcy ustalenia spójnej i jasnej ścieżki kariery zawodowej. Analizując funkcjonujący system kompetencji, menedżer jest w stanie znaleźć luki kompetencyjne i praktycznie szybko je wypełnić. W artykule podjęto próbę analizy kariery menedżerów opartej na kompetencjach.

The manager is exploiting crucial competence on different fields of the occupational activity, he offers the majority of the value of achieved competence to the employer. In exchange he expects from the employer establishing the cohesive and bright professional path of career. Analysing the functioning system of competence, the manager is able to find competence gaps and practically quickly fill them up. In the article an attempt of analysis of success of managers based on competence was taken.
