This is a simple opinion paper, with random thoughts on security and sustainability with reference to the concept of Bashudhaiva Kuttumbakkan (all living being are our relatives) and live and let other live. Paper argues that, there is no seriousness to resolve the problems on security and sustainability as well as other major global crisis, the contemporary world is facing in current time.

Autor, jako wrażliwy i krytyczny obserwator swojej teraźniejszości, sięga po metaforę serca, wykorzystując swoje ‘bałkańskie doświadczenie’, aby skierować myśli czytelnika na względność kategorii dobra i zła. Główną ideą, filozoficznie ugruntowaną i historycznie potwierdzoną, jest kwestia braterstwa rodzaju ludzkiego, zwłaszcza w obliczu współczesnych kryzysów w Europie i na świecie, takich jak kryzys migracyjny, a ostatnio „kryzys Corona.”

The author, as a sensitive and critical observer of his present, draws on the metaphor of the heart, incorporating his 'Balkan experience', to direct the reader's thoughts to the relativity of the categories of good and evil. The core idea, philosophically grounded and historically authenticated, is the question of the brotherhood of the human race, especially in the face of modern crises in Europe and the world such as the migrant crisis and, more recently, the Corona crisis.

Der Autor als sensibler und kritischer Beobachter seiner Gegenwart greift unter Einbeziehung seiner ,Balkan-Erfahrung’ auf die Metapher des Herzens zurück, um die Gedanken des Lesers auf die Relativität der Kategorien Gut und Böse zu lenken. Der Kerngedanke, philosophisch fundiert und historisch beglaubigt, ist die Frage nach der Brüderlichkeit des Menschengeschlechts, insbesondere angesichts der modernen Krisen Europas und der Welt wie die Migrantenkrise und neulich die „Corona-Krise“.
