Educational project Latarnicy Polski Cyfrowej Rownych Szans (Lighthouse-Keepers of the Digitally Equal Poland) is one of the most important events concerning the practical education of adults in 2012, aimed at preparing them for the challenges of the world of information. The event is being conducted on two levels. First, completed level, involved the recruitment of 2614 volunteer teachers. Second level involves development of educational infrastructure and undertaking of educational activities aimed at minimizing the phenomenon of digital exclusion in Poland by educating the group of "digital immigrants". The enigmatic name of Lighthouse-Keeper as a source of light (knowledge), reflects the main idea of the project, oriented at disinterested educational activities for people devoid of various e-skills. In the first part this elaboration outlines the classification of the society by the ability to use the modern IT solutions. Subsequent parts describe the targets of the project Polska Cyfrowa Rownych Szans and details of methodology used to prepare the volunteers to be the new media teachers for adults.
