Vίtor Manuel da Silva Caldeira, who has been for the third time elected as President of the European Court of Auditors, speaks about the ECA’s strategy for the coming years and about opportunities to strengthen cooperation with the Supreme Audit Institutions of the EU Member States. He also answers questions related to the financial crisis that has revealed gaps and weaknesses of auditing, and he recalls the planned second peer review of the ECA.
