Wpływ konkurencyjności gospodarki na wojewódzkie rynki pracy w Polsce

Artykuł zawiera wyniki badania stopnia konkurencyjności gospodarek polskich województw oraz ocenę jego wpływu na kształtowanie się lokalnych stóp bezrobocia. Analizą objęto okres 12 lat (2002-2013). Konkurencyjność gospodarki jest pojęciem złożonym, dlatego w badaniu opisana została za pomocą zmiennej syntetycznej. Uzyskane wyniki wyraźnie wskazują na istotne zróżnicowanie przeciętnego poziomu konkurencyjności gospodarki na szczeblu wojewódzkim. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały istnienie silnej zależności stopy bezrobocia od poziomu konkurencyjności. Stwierdzono również, że we wszystkich województwach i w całym kraju we wspomnianym czasie wzrost konkurencyjności gospodarki miał istotny, pozytywny wpływ na rynek pracy, powodując spadek stopy bezrobocia.

The study contains results of the examination of the degree of the economic competitiveness of Polish provinces. The purpose of this article was also to explore the effects of economic competitiveness on the local unemployment rates. A period of 12 years was provided with the examination, from 2002 to 2013. Economic competitiveness depends on many factors so in our research it was represented by the synthetic variable. Achieved results clearly show the significant regional differences between levels of economic competitiveness. Conducted examinations showed the existence of the strong dependence of the unemployment rate on the level of the competitiveness. They also stated that in all provinces and throughout the country the increase in the competitive-ness of the economy had had an essential, positive impact on the labour market causing the fall in the unemployment rate in the analyzed period.
