Młodzi ludzie – reprezentanci pokolenia Y i Z – stanowią ważny segment rynku pracy, na którym widoczne jest coraz mniejsze bezrobocie. W artykule dokonano przeglądu literatury przedmiotu dotyczącej specyfiki pokolenia Y oraz Z. Następnie w oparciu o przeprowadzone badania empiryczne na grupie 1162 respondentów wskazano, jakie czynniki charakteryzujące pracodawców są ważne dla młodych ludzi poszukujących pracy. Wskazano także, z jakich źródeł i narzędzi korzystają reprezentanci młodego pokolenia w procesie poszukiwania pracy. Podsumowanie artykułu stanowią wnioski z badań oraz implikacje dla praktyki.

Young people – the Y and Z generations representatives – play an important role on the labour market, where the unemployment rate is systematically getting lower. At the beginning of this paper the literature review in area of characteristics of Y and Z generations was presented. Then, based on empirical research conducted among 1162 respondents chosen factors that are important for young people when applying for a job were indicated. Additionally sources of information and tool that are used by young people in the process of job search were presented. Conclusions and directions for business practice are the recapitulation of the paper.
