In the submitted study, the author shows that Paul in the propositio (12,1-2) the section of encouragement (12,3-15,13), although he does not use the word syneidēsis directly, but the words used in it refer to him in conjunction with his basic functions and prove in this way how fundamental it is to renew the mind in the right, i.e. salvifically effective, education of Christian conscience. He does so in the encouragement context to make the recipients aware of how important it is to have a renewed mind and conscience in being and continuing to become a Christian in everyday and concrete living as well as practicing faith in Jesus . With propositio, he makes the foundation on which he builds the paraclesical message of the Letter. It clearly states that permanently renewed by the Gospel of God mind, is an absolute condition for an uninterrupted evangelical renewal of conscience. Thus, renewed in this way conscience is the only deity of mercy granted to sinful humanity, which guarantees constant faithfulness to its norms of judgment with God's justice revealed in Christ, the Son of God, or his absolute righteousness, which is an indispensable condition for achieving eternal salvation.

In der vorliegenden Studie beweist der Autor, dass Paulus in Propositio (Röm 12,1-2) und in folgenden Ermahnungen (12,3–15,13) sich durch das verwendete Vokabular auf das Gewissen in seinen wichtigsten Funktionen bezieht, wenngleich er hier das Wort syneidēsis nicht verwendet. Paulus zeigt dadurch, welch eine fundamentale Bedeutung die Erneuerung im Denken in ihrer eigenen, d.h. heilseffizienten Bildung des christlichen Gewissens hat. Er tut das im parakletischen Kontext, um den Adressaten ins Bewusstsein zu rufen, welch entscheidende Bedeutung die Erneuerung im Denken sowie das Gewissen im Christsein und im unablässigen Christwerden im täglichen und konkreten Erleben des Glaubens an Jesus besitzt. Aus Propositio macht er ein Fundament, auf dem er die parakletische Botschaft des Briefes weiterentwickelt. Er stellt darin unmissverständlich fest, dass ein dauerhaft durch das Evangelium erneuertes Denken eine absolute Grundbedingung der ununterbrochenen Erneuerung des Gewissens ist. Das auf diese Weise erneuerte Gewissen ist – angesichts der sündigen Menschheit erwiesenen Barmherzigkeit – der einzig würdige Garant einer dauerhaften Treue im Einklang mit der in Christus dem Sohn Gottes offenbarten göttlichen Gerechtigkeit. Es geht also um die bedingungslose Geradlinigkeit, die eine unveräußerliche Bedingung des ewigen Heils ist.

W przedłożonym studium autor wykazuje, że Paweł w propositio (12,1-2) sekcji zachęt (12,3–15,13), choć nie stosuje w nim bezpośrednio słowa syneidēsis, to jednak zastosowanym w nim słownictwem do niego się odnosi przywołując jego podstawowe funkcje i dowodzi w ten sposób jak fundamentalne znaczenie ma odnowa umysłu we właściwym, tzn. zbawczo skutecznym, edukowaniu sumienia chrześcijańskiego. Czyni to w parakletycznym kontekście, aby uświadomić Adresatom jak rozstrzygający głos mają odnowione umysł i sumienie w byciu i nieprzerwanym stawaniu się chrześcijaninem w codziennym i konkretnym przeżywaniu oraz praktykowaniu wiary w Jezusa. Z propositio czyni on fundament na którym buduje parakletyczne przesłanie Listu. Jednoznacznie w nim stwierdza, że trwale odnawiany Ewangelią Bożą umysł to absolutny warunek nieprzerwanego ewangelicznego odnawiania sumienia. Odnawiane zaś w ten sposób sumienie to, jedyny godny okazanego grzesznej ludzkości daru miłosierdzia, gwarant stałej wierności jego norm osądu ze sprawiedliwością Bożą objawioną w Chrystusie Synu Bożym, czyli jego bezwzględnej prawości, co jest niezbywalnym warunkiem osiągnięcia zbawienia wiecznego.
