The article focuses on development of the subsystem of nouns with modificate meaning of female gender which are formed by the borrowed suffixes es-a, -ys-a, -yt-a, -id-a during the last two centuries, considering such an integral attribute as the system's influence on the functioning of its separate elements. Some questions of the productivity, functional-semantic distribution of the noticed formants and their style differentiation are examined .
