This paper reflects recent changes of methodology taught in the unit on fieldmethods. Attention is paid to the reflexivity of the observer's epistemological background, specificity of various research goals, and chosen fieldwork methods. Student's observations during the term are described. Interview questions are revisited; it is suggested to ask rather on use then on the meaning, which is rarely conscious.
