The transmedia genology examines relations between various media genres and media formats. Its field of interests includes also the evolution of genres, especially hybrid genres like for example the blog. Some genres (because of their complicated structure) can’t be analyzed on the ground of the traditionally perceived literary genology or media genology. The blog sets an example of how fruitful can be research based on the assumptions of the transmedia genology. Hybrid genres like blogs not only have complicated structure, but also are variable, so definitions and analysis created in the initial period of the blogosphere development may not fully correspond with contemporary shape of blogs. Processuality, dynamism and ephemerality are components of considerable importance in the transmedia genology. The purpose of the article is to analyze the evolution of blogs under the impact of the expansion of social networking services, with particular reference to such features as the convergence and the interactivity.

This paper contains considerations over political culture in the 2010 presidential campaign in social networking sites in Poland – the local one Nasza Klasa and global one, Facebook.com. The objects of analysis were profiles and fan pages of candidates on Nasza Klasa and Facebook where the discussions on politics were being held. The first part of paper focuses on the issue of the influence of demographic and psychographic characteristics of the websites on political culture. In the next part attention was given to the language of the discourse. The last part of the article focuses on content-related dimension of discussion in Nasza Klasa and Facebook. Carried out analysis encompasses both quantitative and qualitative aspects in accordance with established standard of Internet inquiery. The article ends with considerations about role of social networking sites in democratic discourse and building the public sphere.

Zmiany zachodzące na rynku związane z dynamicznym rozwojem Internetu oraz rozwojem społeczeństwa informacyjnego wpłynęły także znacząco na szeroko rozumiany proces rekrutacji, selekcji oraz motywowania pracowników. Celem artykułu będzie zaprezentowanie nowych działań firm w obszarze social mediów, w tym w szczególności proces pozyskiwania pracowników poprzez portale społecznościowe oraz budowanie marki pracownika. Artykuł oparty jest na wynikach badań jakościowych prowadzonych w 2011 r. na portalu społecznościowym Facebook oraz GoldenLine.

Changes in the market relating to the dynamic growth of the Internet and the development of information society have also significantly affected the process of recruitment, selection and mo¬tivation of employees in its broad understanding. The aim of this paper is to present new business activities undertaken in the sphere of social media, including particularly the process of acquiring employees through social networking and employee brand building. The article is based on results of the qualitative research conducted in 2011 in the social network of Facebook and GoldenLine.
