This brief research note addresses the authorship and dating of a Polonaise in A minor also known as ‘Farewell to the Fatherland’, previously attributed to Michał Kleofas Ogiński. Three sources are presented which were not considered by Agnieszka Leszczyńska in her article on the work published in Muzyka (2023/3): two prints for Russian guitar and one arrangement for Spanish guitar. These three editions have a significant bearing on findings related to the work’s new attribution and dating, as proposed by Leszczyńska.

Komunikat podejmuje tematykę autorstwa i datowania poloneza a-moll, zwanego „Pożegnanie ojczyzny”, a przypisywanego Michałowi Kleofasowi Ogińskiemu. Przedstawione zostały trzy źródła, których nie ujęła w swoich rozważaniach Agnieszka Leszczyńska, autorka artykułu „Polonez a-moll «Pożegnanie ojczyzny»: między legendą a rzeczywistością” opublikowanego w Muzyce 2023 nr 3. Informacje dotyczące dwóch publikacji na gitarę rosyjską oraz jednej na gitarę hiszpańską znacząco wpływają na ustalenia związane ze zmianą atrybucji utworu oraz rokiem jego powstania, zaproponowane przez Leszczyńską.
