This article includes research and an edition of the source that has not been known so far; the source concerns the conflicts in Silesia between 1509 and 1513. A detailed analysis of the text allowed researchers to discover the identity of the source’s author. The author turned out to be Bartłomiej of Ziębice, the grandson of King Jiři of Podiebrad and one of the most important politicians in the times when the Jagiellonians ruled Czech. The source in question is a record of the public defense of Duke Bartłomiej, hence the text is one-sided in its opinions, but it still considerably enriches our knowledge about the years 1509-1513 in Silesia and the historical events at the time. This was the time of two conflicts in Silesia: the first one was the 1509 dispute of Duke Frederic II of Legnica with Wrocław and the other was the argument between the dukes of Legnica and Duke Bartłomiej. Both of the conflicts illustrated the animosities between the dukes and the inhabitants of Wrocław. Neither of the conflicts has been analyzed in depth in the historiography, even though they soon ceased being merely regional and there was an interest in them even in the Czech-Hungarian court. In order to solve the conflicts a general assembly was held for all the lands of the Czech crown in Kłodzko in 1512. It had been the first assembly of the type held since the Olomunec reconciliation between Ladislaus the Jagiellonian and Maciej Kowin.

Der Schwerpunkt des vorliegenden Artikels liegt in der Bearbeitung der bisher unbekannten Quelle zu den militärischen Konflikten in Schlesien in den Jahren 1509-1513. Dank einer detaillierten Analyse der Aufzeichnungen gelang es, den bis jetzt nicht bekannten Autor der Quelle zu identifizieren, und zwar den Herzog Bartholomäus von Münsterberg, der Eneklsohn des böhmischen Königs Georg von Podiebrad und einer der bedeutendsten Politiker unter den Jagiellonen in Böhmen war. Die Quelle beinhaltet zwar die Aufzeichnung der öffentlichen Verteidigung des Herzogs Bartholomäus und hat daher einen einseitigen Charakter, trotzdem bereichert sie wesentlich unser Wissen über die Ereignisse der Jahre 1509-1513 in Schlesien. In dieser Zeit fanden zwei Konflikte in Schlesien statt - der Streit des Herzogs Friedrich II. von Liegnitz mit der Stadt Breslau aus dem Jahre 1509 und der Streit der Herzöge von Liegnitz mit dem eben genannten Herzog Bartholomäus - die gegenseitige Animositäten zwischen den Herzögen und Einwohnern Breslaus deutlich veranschaulichen. Die beiden Konflikte fanden bis jetzt einen eher geringen Widerhall in der Geschichtsschreibung, obwohl sie in kurzer Zeit einen überregionalen Charakter bekamen und sogar am böhmisch-ungarischen Hof das Interesse erregten. Um die Konflikte zu lösen, wurde im Jahre 1512 in Glatz eine allgemeine Versammlung aller Länder der böhmischen Krone einberufen. Es war die erste solche Versammlung seit der Versöhnung von Vladislav II. mit Matthias Corvinus in Olmütz.

Podstawą dla niniejszego artykulu jest opracowanie i edycja nieznanego dotąd źródła dotyczącego konfliktów na Śląsku w latach 1509–1513. Dzięki szczegółowej analizie zapisu udało się zidentyfikować nieznanego do tej pory autora źródła, którym okazał się książę Bartłomiej ziębicki, wnuk czeskiego króla Jerzego z Podiebradu i jeden z najważniejszych polityków czasów rządów Jagiellonów w Czechach. Wspomniane źródło jest zapisem publicznej obrony księcia Bartłomieja, ma zatem wydźwięk jednostronny, ale i tak znacznie wzbogaca naszą wiedzę na temat lat 1509–1513 na Śląsku i wydarzeń tego czasu. Wówczas toczyły się na Śląsku dwa konflikty – jednym był spór księcia Fryderyka II legnickiego z Wrocławiem z 1509 roku, a drugim spór książąt legnickich właśnie z księciem Bartłomiejem – w których widać wyraźnie animozje między książętami a mieszkańcami Wrocławia. Obydwóm sporom nie poświęcono dotychczas zbyt wiele miejsca w historiografii, pomimo że szybko owe konflikty przestały być sporami regionalnymi i interesowano się nimi nawet na dworze czesko-węgierskim. W celu ich rozwiązania zwołano w 1512 roku w Kłodzku zgromadzenie ogólne wszystkich ziem Korony Czeskiej, co było pierwszym tego typu zjazdem od pojednania się w Ołomuńcu Władysława Jagiellończyka z Maciejem Korwinem.
