Celem artykułu jest refleksja nad rozwojem badań z zakresu szeroko pojętej lingwistyki kulturowej w opraco waniach germanistycznych. Na zebranym korpusie tekstów kluczowych dla rozwoju lingwistyki kulturowej w badaniach germanistycznych pokazano, w jaki sposób definiowany jest język i kultura w kontekście ich wzajemnych relacji. Omówiono również określenia pojawiające się w literaturze, którymi posługują się lingwiści do nazwania swoich badań, by w dalszej części na przykładach z dwóch kręgów badawczych zilustrować, jakie cele stawiają sobie lingwistyka antropologiczna ( antropologische Linguistik ) i lingwistyka analizująca kulturę ( kulturanalytische Linguistik ) oraz jakie stosują metody w analizie materiału językowe go. Artykuł kończy podsumowanie tendencji rozwojowych omawianej subdyscypliny lingwistycznej oraz komentarz interlingwistyczny.

The aim of the article is to reflect on the development of research within broadly understood cultural linguistics in Germanic studies. The collected corpus of texts of key importance for the development of cultural linguistics in Germanic studies shows how language and culture are defined in the context of their mutual relations. The article also discusses the terms used in the literature by linguists to define and describe their research, in order to use the examples from these two fields to illustrate the aims of anthropological linguistics (anthropologische Linguistik) and cultural linguistics (kulturanalytische Linguistik) and the methods used to analyse the linguistic material. The article ends with a summary of developmental trends in the discussed linguistic sub-discipline and with an interlinguistic commentary.

Materials for the Vilamovicean Dictionary – the letter Z

This paper introduces the reader to the results of the lexicographic project entitled Dictionary of the Vilamovicean Language, carried out by Alexander Andrason and Tymoteusz Król from 2008 to 2011. The project aimed at providing the Polish and international public with a trustful comprehensive description of the lexical potential of the Vilamovicean idiom in its contemporaneous state. The authors first explain the sources of the collected evidence as well as the methodology of the research that underlay the composition of the glossary. Next, the organization of entries is explained in detail. After that, an exemplary portion of the dictionary dedicated to words beginning with the letter z is presented.

Artykuł przedstawia wyniki leksykograficznego projektu badawczego pt. Słownik języka wilamowskiego, prowadzonego przez Alexandra Andrasona i Tymoteusza Króla od roku 2008 do 2011. Projekt ów miał za zadanie opracowanie dogłębnego opisu współczesnego słownictwa języka wilamowskiego, który byłby dostępny zarówno dla czytelnika polskiego jak i angielskiego. Autorzy rozpoczynają swą pracę od wyjaśnienia zródeł zebranych słów, metodologicznych zasad badań nad słownikiem oraz sposobu jego organizcji, przestawiając następnie przykładowy fragment leksykonu, mianowicie część zawierającą słowa zaczynające się od litery Z.
