Konieczność sięgania do odnawialnych źródeł energii staje się faktem bezspornym. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują małe elektrownie wodne nastawione na produkcję energii elektrycznej. Celem artykułu jest ogólna ocena ryzyka eksploatacji małych elektrowni wodnych dla celów ubezpieczenia. W artykule przedstawiono, na bazie pojęć podstawowych, stan energetyki wodnej. Opisano wybrane parametry ochrony ubezpieczeniowej, takie jak suma ubezpieczenia, składka, przedmiot i zakres.

The need for obtaining renewable energy becomes a fact. Particular attention should be paid to small hydroelectric plants directed towards the electricity production. The purpose of this article is to assess the risk of small hydropower plants for insurance purposes. Basing on the fundamental concepts, state of hydropower plants was presented. Authors described selected insurance coverage parameters such as sum insured, premium, subject and scope of insurance protection.
