W artykule charakteryzuje się strukturę zapisów MSR/MSSF 21 „Skutki zmian kursów wymiany walut obcych“ w wersji obowiązującej od 3 kwietnia 2019 r. Zastosowanie tego standardu ma istotne znaczenie ekonomiczne głównie w przypadku przedsiębiorstw, które czynnie uczestniczą w międzynarodowym obrocie gospodarczym. Jest on również istotny jako element ustalania podstawy do opodatkowania podatkiem dochodowym. Artykuł kończy porównanie zapisów MSR/MSSF 21 z polską ustawą o rachunkowości.

The article describes the structure of the provisions of IAS/IFRS 21 "The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates" in the version effective from April 3, 2019. The application of this standard is of significant economic importance mainly in the case of enterprises that actively participate in international trade. It is also important as an element in determining the tax base for income tax. The article ends with a comparison of the provisions of IAS/IFRS 21 with the Polish Accounting Act.
