W artykule przedstawiono istotę i miejsce e-learningu w organizacji, pokazano obszary e-learningu, omówiono jego formy, wskazano wady i zalety zdalnego nauczania, porównano szko-lenia tradycyjne i elektroniczne. Wskazano miejsce e-learningu w procesie zarządzania wiedzą. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie rosnącej roli rozwiązań e-learningowych we współczesnych organizacjach. Przeprowadzone w artykule analizy mają charakter teoretyczny i bazują na dorobku literatury naukowej.

The article discusses the nature and role of e-learning in the organization, presenting the areas of e-learning, its forms, the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning, traditional vs electronic education, the place of e-learning in the process of knowledge management in organizations. The purpose of this article to highlight the growing role of e-learning in contemporary organizations. Analysis carried out in the article is theoretical in nature and is based on the achievements of the scientific publications.

На основе статистических данных проведен анализ рынка ИТ Украины, который показал, что существует большой потенциал для развития этой инновационной сферы деятельности в Украине. Выполнено прогнозирование объемов рынка ИТ Украины на 2014-2016 г. с помощью линии тренда и искусственной нейронной сети. Для определения факторов, влияющих на объем рынка ИТ и характера этого влияния проведен корреляционно-регрессионный анализ и выявлены четыре фактора, которые наиболее влияют на рынок. Innovation activity becomes an integral part of the modern world that develops dynamically. Every leading country identified priority innovative sectors and concentrates its efforts on their development. In Ukraine the best dynamics among innovative areas is demonstrated by the sector of information technologies. It has considerable potential and therefore the study of the prospects of its development is relevant. The aim of the research is to develop the forecast of development of the IT market in Ukraine under conditions of uncertainty based on the available statistics, trends and forecasts of experts by using methods of forecasting, such as a trend line and artificial neural networks; to specify the measures for the development of IT sector based on the forecast. We analyzed the state of the market of IT in Ukraine as one of the leading innovative sectors of the country. As a result, a significant potential for the development of this innovative field of activity in this country was verified. It was discovered that the IT market has a tendency to growth. It is found that the crisis of 2008–2009 negatively influenced this market but already in 2010 the positive trend resumed. From 2000 to 2013, the volume of IT market increased by 505.7%, which confirms the prospects of this sector. It is proven that under current conditions of uncertainty, it is very risky to invest in the sphere of IT because it requires large initial investment. It was concluded that this situation predetermined the need to study the impact of the political and economic situation on the IT market in Ukraine and its further development forecast. By using correlation–regression analysis, we identified the factors that affect the volume of the IT market in Ukraine, and the nature of their influence. It was found that the most influential of these factors are the four: the volume of GDP, average wage, foreign direct investments and export of services, and we determined the nature of this influence. Based on the available forecasts of the dynamics of these factors, by using the line trend and artificial neural network, we made a forecast of positive trends in the volume of the IT market in Ukraine for 2014–2016. The scientific novelty of the work is: in conducting forecasting of the volume of the Ukrainian IT market by using trend line and artificial neural network; in the application of correlation–regression analysis to find the factors of influence on the IT market for building up artificial neural network. The results of the work can be used as a basis for developing strategies for innovative development of enterprises under conditions of uncertainty. The obtained results may become the basis to further research into the development of innovation activity of enterprises in Ukraine and determining capability of the development of IT sector in this country as the most promising innovative field of activity.

Інноваційна діяльність стає невід’ємною частиною сучасного світу, що динамічно розвивається. Кожна лідируюча країна визначила пріоритетні інноваційні сфери діяльності та зосереджує свої зусилля на їх розвитку. В Україні серед інноваційних сфер діяльності найкращу динаміку розвитку демонструє сфера інформаційних технологій. Вона має значний потенціал і тому вивчення перспектив її розвитку актуальне. Мета дослідження – розробка прогнозу розвитку ІТ ринку України в умовах невизначеності на основі наявних статистичних даних, тенденцій та прогнозів експертів із застосуванням методів прогнозування, таких як лінія тренда та штучні нейронні мережі; виокремлення на основі прогнозу заходів для розвитку сфери ІТ. Проаналізовано стан ринку ІТ в Україні як однієї з провідних інноваційних галузей країни. У результаті засвідчено наявність значного потенціалу для розвитку цієї інноваційної сфери діяльності в нашій державі. Виявлено, що ринок ІТ має тенденцію до зростання. З’ясовано, що криза 2008–2009 рр. негативно вплинула на даний ринок, але вже у 2010 р. позитивна тенденція відновилася. Із 2000 р. по 2013 р. обсяг ринку ІТ зріс на 505,7 %, що підтверджує перспективність даної сфери. Доведено, що в сучасних умовах невизначеності дуже ризиковано інвестувати у сферу ІТ, адже вона потребує великих початкових інвестицій. Зроблено висновок, що така ситуація викликала необхідність дослідження впливу політико-економічної ситуації на ринок ІТ в Україні та прогнозування його подальшого розвитку. Із застосуванням кореляційно-регресійного аналізу визначено фактори, що впливають на обсяг ринку ІТ в Україні, та виявлено характер їх впливу. З’ясовано, що найвпливовішими з цих факторів є чотири: обсяг ВВП, середня заробітна плата, прямі іноземні інвестиції та експорт послуг, і виявлено характеру цього впливу. На основі наявних прогнозів динаміки даних факторів за допомогою лінії тренда та штучної нейронної мережі зроблено прогноз позитивної тенденції обсягів ринку ІТ в Україні у 2014–2016 рр. Наукова новизна роботи полягає: у проведенні прогнозування обсягів ринку ІТ України за допомогою лінії тренду та штучної нейронної мережі; у застосуванні кореляційно-регресійного аналізу для пошуку факторів впливу на ринок ІТ України для побудови штучної нейронної мережі. Результати роботи можна використовувати як основу для розробки стратегій інноваційного розвитку підприємств в умовах невизначеності. Одержані результати можуть стати основною для подальших досліджень розвитку інноваційної діяльності підприємств України та виявлення можливостей розвитку ІТ сфери нашої країни як найбільш перспективної інноваційної галузі діяльності. Background: The information technology (IT) is presented in all levels of the supply chain, from the communication with suppliers, through the manufacture process and until the delivery to clients. Moreover, IT has a positive effect on the performance of the supply chain. In this context, it is important for the IT sector to register a positive evolution, in other words it is important that the IT companies to be profitable and to continue to exist on the market ensuring the provision of the necessary tools for the logistic sector. Therefore, the objective of this paper was to analyze the profitability of the IT companies and to identify which factors impact it. The importance of our study in the context of the logistic sector can be sustained by the fact that technology information constitutes a crucial strategic aspect for the logistics service providers and it is important to maintain a positive evolution of the IT sector. Methods: There was used a regression analysis which started from the factors of the DuPont model and afterwards supplemented by one factor identified based on the Stepwise method. Results: The results show that the profitability of the Romanian IT companies is influenced by the Net Profit Margin, the Asset Turnover, the Financial Leverage and the Sales Growth. Conclusions: More exactly, the profitability of these companies is impacted by the capacity to generate net income based on the sales performed (and indirectly by the management of the costs), the efficiency with which the assets are used in order to generate revenues, the financing source of the assets and by the growth of the sales volume. Our results may present importance for the financial management, investors and researches offering insights about the factors which should be observed in order to improve the profitability of an IT entity from Romania. The importance of this study for the logistics sector can be interpreted as following: knowing which is the evolution of the IT market from a country and which factors impact the profitability of it represents an asset from the point of view of the logistics aspects, as there can be provided insights in case that the continuity for the tools needed is uncertain. Future research direction may imply the analysis of the correlation between the evolution of the IT companies and the logistic sector. Considering the fact that, as far as we know, no similar study was performed at the level of the Romanian IT industry, the novelty and originality of the research is represented by the performance of the research at the level of this market.

Wstęp: Technologia IT jest obecna we wszystkich obszarach łańcucha dostaw, od komunikacji z dostawcami, poprzez proces produkcyjny aż po dostawy do klientów. Dodatkowo, IT ma pozytywny wpływ na pracę łańcucha dostaw. W tym kontekście ważne jest, aby sektor IT przeżywał pozytywną ewolucję, to znaczy, aby firmy IT były zyskowne oraz kontynuowały swoją działalność na rynku i były w stanie dostarczać potrzebnych narzędzi dla sektora logistycznego. Celem niniejszej pracy była analiza zyskowności przedsiębiorstw IT oraz identyfikacja czynników na nią wpływających. Istotność tych badań w kontekście sektora logistycznego opiera się na fakcie, że informacja technologiczna jest kluczowym aspektem strategicznym dla dostawców usług logistycznych i dlatego ważnym jest utrzymanie pozytywnej ewolucji sektora IT. Metody: W pracy zastosowano analizę regresji, wychodząc od czynników modelu DuPonta a następnie uzupełniając o czynnik zidentyfikowany przy użyciu metody Stepwise. Wyniki: Wyniki wskazują, że na zyskowność rumuńskich przedsiębiorstw IT ma wpływ marża netto, wskaźnik rotacji, dźwignia finansowa oraz wzrost sprzedaży. Wnioski: Zyskowność badanych przedsiębiorstw jest uwarunkowana zdolnością generowania dochodu netto w oparciu o realizowaną sprzedaż (oraz pośrednio przez zarządzanie kosztami), wydajnością wykorzystania posiadanych zasobów, źródłem finansowania zasobów oraz wielkością sprzedaży. Prezentowane wyniki są istotne dla zarządzania finansowego, zarówno dla inwestorów jak i naukowców, oferując informacje na temat czynników, które należy kontrolować w celu uzyskania zyskowności przedsiębiorstwa IT w Rumunii. Istotność uzyskanych wyników dla sektora logistycznego należy zinterpretować następująco: znajomość ewolucji rynku IT w kraju oraz czynników wpływających na zyskowność daje przewagę z punktu widzenia aspektów logistycznych i dostarcza niezbędnych informacji w sytuacjach niepewnych. Dalsze badania powinny obejmować analizę korelacji pomiędzy ewolucją przedsiębiorstw IT oraz sektora logistycznego. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że jest to pierwsza tego typu praca dotycząca poziomu przemysłu IT w Rumunii, nowość i oryginalność prezentowanej pracy jest reprezentowana poprzez jej realizację na poziomie tego rynku.
