The paper is devoted to research of scientific cooperation of Ivan Mirchuk and Kazimierz Twardowski – two great representatives of Ukrainian (Mirchuk) and Polish (Twardowski) philosophy of the 20th century. The issue is mainly researched on the basis of materials of the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv and Archives of Kazimierz Twardowski in united libraries of WFiS UW, IFiS PAN and PTF in Warsaw. As a result, hitherto unknown, but extremely important for the history of Ukrainian and Polish philosophy facts, that shed light on scientific interrelationships of Mirchuk and Twardowski, were identified. The paper is supplemented by translations from Polish into Ukrainian of two short articles about Mirchuk’s philosophical views, published in prewar Polish periodicals in Lviv.
