The author presents the person and work of Alexandro Jodorowsky. In the introduction he writes about Jodorowsky's youth and the beginning of his artistic career. Then he analyses three famous films made by the director: 'Fando and Lis' (Fando y Lis), 'The Mole' (El topo) and the 'Holy Mountain' (La Montana Sagrada). In the second part of the article the author proposes a reading of these films using Susan Sontag's Notes on 'Camp'. In this context the artifice or excess present in Jodorowsky's films stops being a negative element in our judgement of the work.
