This article profiles Lila Rudik, a schoolgirl at the Anna Jabłonowska Grammar School at Białystok, who wrote an article supporting the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War and put up in her school’s wall newspaper in October 1936. The story was picked up by journalists and turned into a nationwide debate issue. The article presents the reactions of various sections of the press and of the public opinion to this ‘incident’ and their consequences.

W artykule przedstawiono postać Lili Rudik — uczennicy białostockiego gimnazjum im. Anny z Sapiehów Jabłonowskiej. Opublikowała ona w połowie października 1936 r. w ściennej gazetce szkolnej artykuł popierający republikańskie władze Hiszpanii. Informacje o tym dotarły do dziennikarzy, którzy całą sprawę nagłośnili. Artykuł ukazuje reakcję części środowiska dziennikarskiego oraz opinii publicznej na ten tekst oraz ich następstwa.
