The paper investigates a manuscript of an untitled Mongolian biography of Zanabazar, the First Khalkha Jetsundampa (1635-1723), preserved in the Archives of Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences in Kraków, in the collection of Wladyslaw Kotwicz. The same text of the biography of Zanabazar was studied and translated to English by Charles Bawden in his work 'The Jebtsundamba Khutukhtus of Urga. Text, Translation and Notes' in 1961. The Modern Mongolian version based on several manuscripts of the biography preserved in Ulan Bator was published by Dashbadrakh in 1995.The present paper provides main information about the manuscript kept in the Kotwicz Collection together with its comparison to the fragments of other copies of the biography used by Bawden and Dashbadrakh for their studies. he
