Towarzystwo Miłośników Historii Reformacji Polskiej im. Jana Łaskiego w Wilnie, powołane w 1916 r., odegrało ważną rolę w propagowaniu dziejów reformacji na ziemiach polskich. Zawdzięczało to intensywnej działalności jego członków, organizujących liczne spotkania i wykłady. Oprócz tego Towarzystwo wydawało książki na temat Kościoła ewangelicko-reformowanego oraz wpływu, jaki reformacja wywarła na rodzącą się kulturę i język. O rosnącym prestiżu Towarzystwa może świadczyć fakt, że pod koniec działalności podwoiło liczbę członków w porównaniu z 1918 r. The Jan Laski Society of Lovers of the History of Polish Reformation in Vilnius, established in 1916, played a significant role in the propagation of history of the Reformation in the Polish lands. This was achieved thanks to an intensive activity of its members, including numerous meetings and lectures. In addition, the Society published books on the Evangelical-Reformed Church and the impact of the Reformation on the emerging culture and language. The growing prestige of the Society can be testified by the fact that at the end of its existence it almost doubled its membership in comparison to 1918.

Development of Bohemian protestant settlement on Polish lands from the perspective of historical geography is presented in the article. Into account were taken both, the lands that belonged to Poland in the past (for example Wołyń), and also lands included into Poland after World War II (for example Kłodzko region). The main stages, location and conditions of settlement are described. On the basis of morphology of settlement evident in the field the impact of settlers' confession and culture on the local population is described. An importance of Bohemian origin people in the Evangelical Reformed Church in Poland is also presented.

Artykuł prezentuje rozwój osadnictwa czeskich protestantów (luteranów oraz braci czeskich) na ziemiach polskich z perspektywy geografii historycznej; uwzględniono zarówno ziemie należące do Polski w przeszłości (np. Wołyń), jak i te włączone do niej dopiero po drugiej wojnie światowej (np. ziemię kłodzką). W artykule wyróżniono kilka zasadniczych etapów historycznych tego osadnictwa, jego lokalizację oraz przyczyny (polityczne oraz gospodarcze). Omówiono jego charakterystyczną morfologię (na podstawie pozostałych do dziś śladów w przestrzeni) oraz wpływ wyznania i kultury osadników na miejscową ludność. Podsumowaniem całości studium jest przedstawienie roli, jaką obecnie ludność pochodzenia czeskiego odgrywa w Kościele Ewangelicko-Reformowanym w Polsce.

The article describes selected evangelical schools in Warsaw from their establishment to the onset of the Second World War. Particular emphasis is placed on their history, characteristics and ecumenism. Their openness to other religions and the local community is made evident by the fact that the schools were attended by students of many Christian faiths as well as Jews, who sometimes exceeded the number of Protestant students. This study takes into consideration schools based at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Parish at Małachowski Sq and Kredytowa St as well as the Evangelical Reformed Parish school at Solidarność Av. These schools, though run by Protestants, functioned in a multinational and multiethnic environment as was typical for Warsaw in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The article presents the position of the Protestant environment to a selected number of international issues and socio-political changes in Poland after 1989. The article discusses issues related to Polish-German relations, the Polish accession to NATO and the European Union. The article presents the position of evangelical churches to Jewish issues and the state of Israel, conflict in the Balkans, as well as the Iraqi issue and the problem of international terrorism. It shows the ratio of evangelical environment to social problems of the modern world: homosexuality, abortion and euthanasia
