Автор делает анализ переводческих стратегий использованых переводчиками Футурологического конгресса Станислава Лема на болгарский, русский и чешский языки. Открыты значимые различия подбора стратегий - чешская переводчица, Г. Стахова, стремится максимально сохранить авторскую идею ставить перед читателем этимологические загадки - с большим успехом. Русский переводчик, К. Душенко, и болгарская переводчица С. Петрова выбрали другий подход, стремлясь к тому, чтоб сделать перевод максимально понятным для читателя. При таком подходе, к сожалению, достаточно много интеллектуальных вызовов теряется. Обнаружено тоже, что с очень высокой вероятностью Петрова была под большим влиянием русскоязычного перевода.

The author analyses the translation strategies used by the translators of S. Lem’s The Futurological Congress to Bulgarian, Czech and Russian languages. The significant differences in the approach is noted - H. Stachová, who translated to Czech language, tries to preserve in all the circumstances the author’s idea of challenging the reader with ethymological puzzles - and succeeds in that task very well. The Russian translator, K. Dushenko and the Bulgarian translator, S. Petrova, choose different approach, trying to maximalize understandability for the target language reader. With this approach quite a lot of intellectual challenges disappear from the text. The other discovered fact is, that with very high probability S. Petrova must have been influenced by the Russian translation.

  Autor analizuje przekład autorskich neologizmów S. Lema, nazywających środki psychemiczne w Kongresie futurologicznym w bułgarskiej, czeskiej oraz rosyjskiej wersji językowej utworu. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła na odkrycie zauważalnych różnic w wyborach strategii tłumaczeniowych między tłumaczką czeską, która za dominantę przyjęła jak największą wierność intencjom autora, a tłumaczami rosyjskim i bułgarskim, dla których dominantą było uprzystępnienie tekstu czytelnikowi, nawet kosztem sprzeniewierzenia się idei autora. Dodatkowo udało się wykryć, że tłumaczka bułgarska w swojej pracy musiała się posiłkować przekładem rosyjskim.
