The article considers the representation of the concept “Ordnung” based upon the dictionary material, synonymic and derivational lines, paremias in Ukrainian and German. The data of the associative experiment are also involved in the analysis of conceptual meanings. The paper considers the intercultural similarities and differences in understanding of the concept, which results in differences in its structure.

Niniejszy artykuł wpisuje się w kontekst badań kognitywno-egzegetycznych nad tekstem Pisma Świętego. Z jednej strony zahacza o obszar językoznawstwa, czyniąc jednak krok dalej, w stronę egzegezy tekstu prorockiego, w tym przypadku tekstu Proto-Izajasza. Celem takiego podejścia jest próba oceny przydatności metody językoznawstwa kognitywnego do analizy i interpretacji tekstu biblijnego oraz określenie, na ile innowacyjne są wyniki tego typu analizy, a na ile potwierdza ona dotychczasowe osiągnięcia. W badaniach zastosowano metodę metafory konceptualnej w definicji podanej przez Georga Lakoffa i Marka Johnsona. Jako metoda kognitywna daje możliwość synchronicznego badania tekstu, pozwalając wniknąć w myślenie ludzi z czasu powstania dzieła. W wyniku analizy tekstu tą metodą uzyskano całościowy obraz problematyki sprawiedliwości, jaki wyłania się z tekstu księgi Proto-Izajasza. Na podstawie badań stwierdzono, że metoda ta jak najbardziej nadaje się do egzegezy tekstu świętego, ukazując holistyczny obraz badanego problemu oraz jego ewolucję. Należy jednak zastrzec, że można nią badać jedynie wybrany aspekt, jednoczesne badanie wielu wątków może doprowadzić do chaosu i braku konkretnych wyników. Choć sama metoda raczej potwierdza dotychczasowe analizy, to o jej innowacyjności świadczy fakt, że daje całościowy ogląd badanego zjawiska.

This article is in the context of cognitive-eggetic research on the text of Scripture. On the one hand, it hooks into the area of linguistics, but takes a step further, towards the exegesis of the prophetic text, in this case the Proto-Isaiah text. The aim of such an approach is to try to assess the usefulness of the method of cognitive linguistics for the analysis and interpretation of the biblical text, and to determine how innovative the results of this type of analysis are, and to what extent it confirms the achievements to date. The research uses the method of conceptual metaphor in the definition given by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson. As a cognitive method, it gives the possibility of a synchronous study of the text, allowing us to penetrate the thinking of the people of the time when the work was created. As a result of the analysis of the text, this method gives a comprehensive picture of the issues of justice that emerges from the text of the book Proto-Isaiah. The research has shown that this method is most suitable for the exegesis of the sacred text, showing a holistic picture of the problem under investigation and its evolution. However, it should be stipulated that only a selected aspect can be studied with this method, and that studying multiple threads simultaneously can lead to chaos and a lack of concrete results. Although the method itself rather confirms the analyses made so far, its innovation is attested to by the fact that it gives a holistic view of the phenomenon under investigation.

Der vorliegende Artikel passt sich in den kognitiv-exegetischen Kontext der Forschung zur Heiligen Schrift ein. Einerseits berührt er das Gebiet der Sprachwissenschaft, mach aber einen Schritt weiter in Richtung der Exegese der Propheten-Schrift, hier des Buches Protojesaja. Das Ziel solch einer Herangehensweise ist die Probe einer Beurteilung der Brauchbarkeit einer Methode der kognitiven Sprachwissenschaft zur Analyse eines biblischen Textes und die Einschätzung der Neuartigkeit der Ergebnisse derartiger Analyse bzw. der Bestätigung der bisherigen Ergebnisse. In der Untersuchung fand Anwendung die Methode der konzeptuellen Metapher in der Definition von George Lakoff und Mark Johnson. Als eine kognitive Methode bietet sie die Möglichkeit einer synchronen Untersuchung des Textes, sie gibt Einsicht in das Denken der Menschen der Entstehungszeit des Textes. Infolge der Analyse wurde es möglich, das ganzheitliche Bild des Gerechtigkeits-Problems im Buch Protojesaja zu erfassen. Aufgrund der Untersuchung kam man zum Schluss, dass sich die Methode zur Exegese des heiligen Textes eignet, indem sie das holistische Bild des untersuchten Problems und dessen Entwicklung zeigt. Gleichzeitig muss man bemerken, dass man mit dieser Methode nur einen ausgewählten Aspekt untersuchen darf, die gleichzeitige Untersuchung mehrerer Motive kann zur gewissen Unübersichtlichkeit und dem Mangel an Ergebnisse führen. Obwohl die Methode eher die bisherigen Analysen bestätigt, liegt ihre Innovation darin, dass sie das ganzheitliche Bild des untersuchten Problems erfasst.

Germanistyka jako dyscyplina naukowa odbiega obecnie ‒ jeśli chodzi o profil, treści i metody nauczania ‒ od germanistyki zaprojektowanej i ugruntowanej w XIX wieku, w którym tworzone były poszczególne dziedziny nauki. Germanistyka posiada obfitującą w zmiany historię i stoi obecnie przed ogromnymi wyzwaniami. W tym kontekście niniejszy artykuł jest próbą określenia nowej lub co najmniej zróżnicowanej funkcji germanistyki i jej wariantów. Artykuł podejmuje rozważania na temat aktualnych, podstawowych zagadnień dotyczących typologii przedmiotu, konceptualizacji, funkcji i perspektyw germanistyki (w jej wielorakich odmianach) i omawia je w wielojęzycznych i multikulturowych europejskich ramach. Na tej podstawie opracowane zostają ogólne zarysy i osiągnięcia, przede wszystkim germanistyki wschodnio-środkowoeuropejskiej.

German Studies as an academic field today, in terms of profile, content and methods, are different from how the discipline was designed and established in the modelgiving 19th century. It has undergone a history full of changes, and is facing major challenges positioning of German Studies and their manifestations. Thus, it raises some questions concerning the current principles in terms of terminology, conceptualization, positioning and prospects of German Studies (in their various forms) and discusses these issues in their multilingual and multicultural European framework of reference. Against this background, elements of the outline and the performance of specially Eastern-Central European German Studies are elaborated upon.

Die Germanistik als wissenschaftliches Fach sieht gegenwärtig im Hinblick auf Profil, Inhalte und Methoden natürlich nicht mehr so aus, wie sie im disziplinenbildenden 19. Jhd. konzipiert und etabliert wurde. Sie hat eine wechselvolle Fachgeschichte durchlaufen und steht derzeit vor großen Herausforderungen. In diesem Kontext hat der Beitrag vor, eine neue oder zumindest differenziertere Standortbestimmung der Germanistik und ihrer Erscheinungsformen zu erarbeiten. So stellt er einige Überlegungen zu aktuellen Grundsatzfragen bezüglich der Fachtypologie, der Konzeptualisierung, der Verortung und der Perspektiven der Germanistik (in ihren mannigfaltigen Ausprägungen) an und diskutiert diese in ihrem mehrsprachigen und multikulturellen Referenzrahmen. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden Elemente der Konturen und Leistungen einer speziell ostmitteleuropäischen Germanistik herausgearbeitet.
