The article presents the activities undertaken in the village Krzaki in the Sieradz district, the Łódź region, which contributed to increasing the activity of the residents, and also created the active form of spending free time in the period free from schooling. The article is also an attempt to summarize the 15-year activity of the youth from Krzaki, which since 2003 has been carrying out actions and projects responding to the needs to be indicated by the local community. Currently, not only in one village, but in the Brzeźnio commune. The approach to animation was described from the perspective of the organizer, who in the process of operation acquired new competences and skills necessary to implement the planned initiatives.

W artykule zostały ukazane działania podejmowane w niewielkiej wsi na Sieradzczyźnie, które przyczyniły się do zwiększenia aktywności mieszkańców, a przede wszystkim stworzyły młodzieży aktywną formę spędzania wolnego czasu w okresie wolnym od nauki szkolnej. Artykuł stanowi również próbę podsumowania 15-letniego dorobku działalności młodzieży z Krzaków, która od 2003 roku realizuje akcje i projekty odpowiadające na potrzeby wskazywane przez społeczność lokalną. Obecnie nie tylko w jednej miejscowości, ale na terenie gminy. Sposób podejścia do animacji opisany został z perspektywy organizatora, który w procesie działania nabywał nowe kompetencje i umiejętności niezbędne do realizacji zaplanowanych inicjatyw.
