In 2021, Piotr Gryszpanowicz put forward the thesis that in 1921 Płock was decorated by Marshal Józef Piłsudski with a four-time Cross of Valor. However, the case is not clear-cut, as there is no confirmation of the four-fold shipment in the documents of the Ministry of Military Affairs.

W 2021 r. dr inż. Piotr Gryszpanowicz postawił tezę, że w 1921 r. Płock został odznaczony przez marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 4-krotnym Krzyżem Walecznych. Sprawa nie jest jednak jednoznaczna, bowiem nie ma potwierdzenia 4-krotnego nadania w dokumentach Ministerstwa Spraw Wojskowych.
