Portret Petera Kubelki – jednego z najbardziej znanych austriackich artystów, legendy międzynarodowej awangardy filmowej po II wojnie światowej. Autorka omawia filmy Kubelki w kolejności ich powstawania, ukazując ewolucję jego pracy wynikającą z nieustających prób artysty dotarcia do istoty kina. Szkicując biografię Kubelki, Kosińska- Krippner stara się ukazać bogactwo osobowości artysty, który kieruje się w życiu zasadą despecjalizacji, integrującą rozmaite obszary kultury (film, gotowanie, architektura, archeologia). Ukazuje go jako reżysera, wykładowcę, podróżnika, prelegenta, performera, filozofa, etnologa, kucharza i muzyka. Omawia jego najważniejsze życiowe projekty (Austriackie Muzeum Filmu, Anthology Film Archive, The Invisible Cinema). Odnotowuje też przykłady wpływu Kubelki na innych artystów.

A portrait of Peter Kubelka – one of the best known Austrian artist, a legend of international film avant-garde in the post-war era. The author presents Kubelka’s films in the order of their production, showing the evolution of his work resulting from the search for the essence of film. In her presentation of Kubelka’s life and work Kosinska-Krippner presents the richness of his personality, and the width of his culture related interests (film, cooking, architecture, archaeology). She shows him as a director, teacher, adventurer, presenter, performer, philosopher, ethnologist, cook and a musician. She describes his most important projects (Austrian Film Museum, Anthology Film Archives, The Invisible Cinema) and notes the influence Kubelka had on other artists.
