The article presents an analysis of the iconography of two convent seals of Lubiąż made in the first half of the fourteenth century and the sources of inspiration for the seal images. Then, it indicates the probable reasons for the exchange of the seal matrices between 1341 and 1343. Attention is also paid to the authorship of the convent seals of Lubiąż.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę ikonografii dwóch pieczęci konwentu lubiąskiego wykonanych w pierwszej połowie XIV w., a także źródła inspiracji obrazu pieczęci. Wskazano następnie prawdopodobne przyczyny wymiany typariuszy między 1341 a 1343 r. Uwagę poświęcono ponadto autorstwu pieczęci konwentu lubiąskiego.

W niniejszym tekście przedstawiono analizę pieczęci opatów lubiąskich od schyłku średniowiecza do 1810 r. Zwrócono uwagę na stronę wizualną poszczególnych pieczęci opackich oraz funkcje, jakie pełniły one w działalności opatów w lokalnych wspólnotach oraz na zewnątrz. Artykuł został podzielony na część analityczną oraz inwentarz pieczęci opatów, w którym zestawiono wszystkie znane typariusze i odciski pieczętne z badanego okresu.

The article presents an analysis of the seals of the Lubiąż (Leubus) abbots from the period between the end of the Middle Ages to 1810. Attention was paid to the visual aspects of individual abbot seals and the functions performed by the seals in the abbots’ activity in both within the local communities and outside. The article is divided into an analytical part and an inventory of abbot seals, in which all known seal matrices and seals from the examined period are summarised.

The study of the musical script in the Cistercian books in Silesia, undertaken with regard to the establishments made by researchers in the field of palaeography and book illumination, made it possible to identify other volumes of Lubiąż origin, greatly enlarging the number of known sources produced in this scriptorium. The article presents an up-to-date list of musical sources (20 pieces of music) produced in Lubiąż from the abbey’s foundation in the third quarter of the twelfth century to the mid-fourteenth century.

Badania pisma muzycznego ksiąg cysterskich na Śląsku, podjęte z uwzględnieniem osiągnięć badaczy z zakresu paleografii i iluminacji książkowej, pozwoliły na identyfikację kolejnych woluminów lubiąskiego pochodzenia, poszerzając tym samym grupę znanych źródeł sporządzonych w tym skryptorium. Artykuł przedstawia aktualną listę źródeł muzycznych (20 jednostek) powstałych w Lubiążu od powstania opactwa w trzeciej ćwierci XII w. do połowy XIV stulecia.
