In this article, the chronological and typological analysis of four early medieval axes preserved in the Regional Museum in Jaslo is presented. Three of them (Trzcinica 1, Trzcinica 2, Lysa Góra) represent subtype Va, according to A. Nadolski classification, dated here by analogy to the period from the 9th to 11th century. The fourth axe is an example of type IX according to M. Glosek and dates to the late medieval period. The studies of the above mentioned axes show that the issues of this Findsa category should be revised once more, as the expansion of the source base caused by the new data inflow and necessity to revise some apparently common and unquestionable views arises.
