In the context of his biography, the author presents memoirs about Tatarkiewicz. From the early years after World War II, he shows Tatarkiewicz’s work in Warsaw University, his philosophical seminar and his firing from the University. He also describes further fortune of Tatarkiewicz’s pupils (mostly Marxists and others) in their academic career and personal life.
