This article treats about modeling different phenomena by means of concepts and tools elaborated in the computer science framework, mainly in that of Artificial Intelligence (AI). After having presented the notion of formalized computer science model (CSMd), we described general interactive modeling procedure (which consists of four stages: abstraction, formalization, simplification and verification). Then we characterize this procedure in the context limited to computer science. While discussing different types of CSMd, we focus on the domain of AI, e.g. we distinguish between rule-based models (often implemented as expert systems), network-based models (often implemented as artificial neural networks) and evolutionary models (often based using genetic algorithms). But, most importantly, we believe that machine learning tools (as part of the AI domain) could and, as the matter of fact, should be used in order to automate each of the stages of the proposed interactive modeling procedure.

Modern approaches to interpretation of the concept 'insurance culture' have been determined and the necessity of modeling of indices of the insurance culture of consumers proved. Possibilities of the high-quality, mediated and quantitative measuring of indices of the insurance culture of consumers have been characterized. Component elements and indices of the insurance culture of consumers have been separated. The results of the conducted sociological research are given in the form of questionnaire survey of actual and potential consumers of insurance services of the Western Region, on the basis of which the calculation of value of the insurance culture and its separate constituents is offered. By the modeling design and quantitative evaluation of separate indices of the insurance culture of consumers they are incorporated in the integral coefficient of the insurance culture.

The empirical part of the research shows that econometric models appear to have significant potential on the basis of the estimated valuation of dwellings. Therefore econometric models can support effectiveness of companies activity in real estate market and mortgage market. There is a good idea to say - that in the majority cases the more standard measured object is, the most narrowly this type of estimate is. It has been mentioned that the precision of modelling decreased because of the recession in real estate market. Of course, building a model requires access to relevant databases, but let us to identify the group of vital factors that determines the real market value of dwellings. Moreover when it comes to the question of stochastic aspects of valuation, econometric and statistic modelling seems to be terribly important.

Methodology of design and regulation of bussiness-processes of enterprises based on fuzzy logic methods and theory of fuzzy sets for the automated management of outlays generating processes in the oil and gas industry has been offered. Examples of application of the fuzzy logic methods for resolution of planning problems have been considered. The method of fuzzy operative evaluation of oil and gas well-drilling outlays is offered.
