The submitted study presents the history of the Mormon Church in Czechoslovakia after 1945. The Mormons resumed their activities following the end of World War II, but this did not last long. After the Communist coup in February, they came under surveillance, which eventually led to the arrest and short-term imprisonment of several American missionaries. The activities of Czechoslovak Mormons were banned, forcing them to operate underground. The text introduces the reader to the complex situation that arose after February 1948, when the functioning of the church became very difficult and the State Security sought to obstruct and suppress their activities by all possible means.
