Model biznesu rzeźbiarza jako niezależnego twórcy

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie aktywności artysty jako przedsiębiorcy i ukazanie znaczenia wiedzy biznesowej w rozwoju jego kariery. Opisano w nim, korzystając z modelu Osterwaldera, wybrane elementy związane z komercyjnym funkcjonowaniem na rynku sztuki. Na potrzeby tekstu wytypowano sześć elementów modelu biznesu rzeźbiarza: sprzedaż galeryjną, konkursy rzeźbiarskie, sympozja rzeźbiarskie, samodzielne pozyskiwanie klientów, współpracę z dostawcami i podwykonawcami oraz działalność wystawienniczą. W każdym z tych punktów omówiono charakterystykę zagadnienia. Przedstawiono także wady i zalety poszczególnych elementów modelu. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na wiążącą się z modelem biznesu rzeźbiarza konieczność posiadania wszechstronnej wiedzy. Integralną część tekstu stanowi zakończenie.

The aim of the article is to present the activity of an artist as an entrepreneur and to show the significance of business knowledge in an artist’s development process. Using the Osterwalder model, the text describes selected elements connected with commercial side of art market. For the needs of the herein article six elements were chosen: gallery sale, sculpture contests, sculpture symposiums, unassisted clients seeking, cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors as well as exhibition activity. Each of the elements was characterised. What is more, advantages and disadvantages of each of the parts of the model were depicted. The article emphasizes the necessity to have versatile knowledge which is connected with the sculptor business model. The ending is an integral part of the text.
