Artykuł omawia zabytki sakralne, eksponaty z działu historycznego Muzeum Okręgowego w Pile. Omówiono najważniejsze obiekty z okresu XV–XX w., wpisane do ksiąg: Regionalia, Dokumenty i Fotografie I–II. Ze względu na objętość artykułu pominięto obiekty znajdujące się w kolekcji Falerystyki i Militariów. Zaprezentowane eksponaty świadczą dobitnie, iż przez setki lat wiara katolicka na terenie północnej Wielkopolski odgrywała kluczową rolę w życiu jej mieszkańców.

The article discusses sacred monuments, exhibits from the historical department of the Pila (Piła) District Museum. It discusses the most important objects from the 15th–20th centuries, entered in the books: Regionalia, Documents and Photographs I–II. Due to the volume of the article, objects in the collection of Faleristics and Militaria were omitted. The exhibits presented clearly testify that for hundreds of years the Catholic faith in northern Wielkopolska played a key role in the lives of its inhabitants.

The article discusses sacred monuments, exhibits from the historical department of the Pila (Piła) District Museum. It discusses the most important objects from the 15th–20th centuries, entered in the books: Regionalia, Documents and Photographs I–II. Due to the volume of the article, objects in the collection of Faleristics and Militaria were omitted. The exhibits presented clearly testify that for hundreds of years the Catholic faith in northern Wielkopolska played a key role in the lives of its inhabitants.

Powyższy artykuł omawia obiekty sakralne zebrane w dziale sztuki Muzeum Okręgowego w Pile. Omówione eksponaty pochodzą z ksiąg: Obrazy, Rzeźba, Ceramika i szkło, Przedmioty użytkowe. Opracowaniu poddane zostały jedynie obiekty najważniejsze ze względu na aspekt historyczny, jak i artystyczny. Świadczą one o pamięci i przywiązaniu pilskich artystów do regionalnych obiektów sakralnych, ale także o niezwykłej różnorodności dzieł, w której przeplatają się wątki religijne zarówno w przedstawieniu, jak i znaczeniu i przeznaczeniu całego obiektu.

The above article discusses sacred objects collected in the art department of the District Museum in Pila (Piła). The discussed exhibits come from the books: Paintings, Sculpture, Ceramics and Glass, and Utility Objects. Only the most important objects in terms of historical and artistic aspects were analyzed. They testify to the attachment and memory of Pila (Piła) artists to regional religious buildings, but also to the extraordinary diversity of works in which religious threads are intertwined in both the presentation and the meaning and purpose of the entire object.
