In the year 2000, a field survey of Site 12 at Bialoboki, district Przeworsk, brought to light a P. Maenius Antiaticus republican denarius from 132 B.C. The influx of republican denarii to south-east Poland can probably be dated between 1st c. A.D. (the Polaniec hoard) and the second half of 2nd c. A.D. (Emperor Traian's monetary reform). That area had already been dominated by the population of the Przeworsk culture: their settlements are known to have existed in the Central San valley from as early as the early Roman period.
