Szybki rozwój handlu internetowego i dynamiczny wzrost jego udziału w handlu detalicznym, niski poziom marży osiąganej w wielu branżach, z tendencją malejącą oraz niepewne otoczenie gospodarcze powodują, że przedsiębiorstwa poszukują nowych modeli biznesu, które pozwolą im rozwijać działalność w nowych warunkach. W efekcie tradycyjny model biznesu oparty na kluczowych kompetencjach zaczyna w coraz większym stopniu tracić znaczenie jako nieadekwatny do dynamicznych zmian zachodzących w gospodarce, otoczeniu prawnym i politycznym. W niniejszym artykule autorka podjęła próbę opisu procesów związanych z rosnącym udziałem handlu internetowego oraz ich wpływu na rekonfigurację łańcucha dostaw.

Rapid development of e-commerce, the dynamic growth of its share in the retail, low levels of profit achieved in many industries, with a downward trend and the uncertain economic environment makes new ecosystem for companies. There is a reason, that enterprises are seeking a new business models, which will allowed to develop activity in the new environment. In effect, the traditional business model based on core competences begins to lose its importance, as a inadequate to the dynamic changes, occurring in the economy, legal and political environment. In this article the author has attempted to diagnose the phenomena associated with the increasing share of e-commerce and its impact on the supply chain configurations.
