Autor podjął próbę przedstawienia funkcjonowania i organizacji łowiectwa w dobrach Nieborów w 2. połowie XIX i w 1. połowie XX w. (do wybuchu II wojny światowej). Tekst artykułu powstał w oparciu o materiały zachowane w zasobie Archiwum Głównego Akt Dawnych w Warszawie, w zespole Archiwum Radziwiłłów z Nieborowa – Akta majątkowe i gospodarcze nowsze. Zasadnicza część artykułu, dotycząca organizacji i funkcjonowania łowiectwa została poprzedzona wprowadzeniem zawierającym krótką historię dóbr Nieborów i zestawienie ich kolejnych właścicieli.

The author presents the functioning and organization of hunting in estate Nieborów in the late 19th c. and 20th c., by the outbreak of World War II. The article is based on records from the holdings the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw, a fond: Archive of the Radziwiłł Family from Nieborów – newer records on estate and economic matters. The main part of the article is devoted to the organization and functioning of hunting and was preceded by the introduction containing a brief history of Nieborów estate and list of its subsequent owners.
