What is the newest Polish drama? Which issues are discussed, what is noteworthy for present playwrighters? Does the contemporary Polish theatre interesed in new dramas? The article makes an effort to depict topics, forms, language and situation of modern Polish drama, which from time to time provoques discussion about its quality and status. Probably in the time of postdramatic theatre its function on the stages will slowly pass and for this reason thinking about drama must be changed as well. Untill then modern Polish drama exists beyond conventional wisdom.
