Demographic changes point to the need to pay attention to the characteristics, needs and opportunities of people at old age. The article presents changes in verbal communication taking place as a result of physiological aging. It is written the transformation of speech due to changes in the structural and functional characteristics of this stage of life. It is also described a transformation in the field of programming language, using a dictionary specific phenomena of communication: OTV (Off Target Verbosity) and TOT (Tip-of-the Tongue) and attention is paid to intergenerational communication.
