In 2019, a work by Dr. Wiesława Teresa Wójcik, entitled "I'm leaving without fear." Diary and other documents of the last years of Emil Zegadłowicz's life. This publication, as the author writes in the Introduction, is of a research and editorial character. It contains various hitherto unknown archival documents concerning the last period of Zegadłowicz's life. They are included in the framework of the dates of the outbreak of World War II and the writer's death (February 24, 1941). These include diaristic texts, the thoughts of the author of "Zmory", as well as correspondence. These materials, stored, among others at the Museum of Literature Adam Mickiewicz in Warsaw, the National Library in Warsaw, the University Library in Kielce, the Emil Zegadłowicz Museum in Gorzeń Górny, the Beskidzka Library in Bielsko-Biała and private archives, they are very varied both in form and content. Courtesy of the author, in the pages of "Wadovianów" we publish the Introduction to the work, in which she discusses the source material presented in the book.

W 2019 r. na rynku wydawniczym ukazała się praca dr Wiesławy Teresy Wójcik pt. „Odchodzę bez lęku”. Dziennik i inne dokumenty ostatnich lat życia Emila Zegadłowicza. Publikacja ta, jak pisze we Wstępie Autorka, ma charakter badawczy i edytorski. Zostały w niej opracowane nieznane dotychczas różnorodne dokumenty archiwalne, dotyczące ostatniego okresu życia Zegadłowicza. Zawarte są one w ramach wyznaczonych datami wybuchu II wojny światowej i śmierci pisarza (24 II 1941). Należą do nich teksty diarystyczne, myśli autora Zmór, a także korespondencja. Materiały te, przechowywane m.in. w Muzeum Literatury im. Adama Mickiewicza w Warszawie, Pracowni Rękopisów Biblioteki Narodowej w Warszawie, Bibliotece Uniwersyteckiej w Kielcach, Muzeum Emila Zegadłowicza w Gorzeniu Górnym, Książnicy Beskidzkiej w Bielsku-Białej oraz archiwach prywatnych, są bardzo zróżnicowane zarówno w formie, jak i w treści. Dzięki uprzejmości Autorki na łamach „Wadovianów” publikujemy Wstęp do pracy, w którym omawia ona zaprezentowany w książce materiał źródłowy.
