Selected linguistic and cultural aspects related to domestic animals in ethnolinguistic panchronic study by Olga Kielak This paper shows the review of a monograph titled Domestic animals in Language and Culture, An Ethnolinguistic Study, by Olga Kielak. I summarize and evaluate the major points I have chosen from the book in a point-by-point schema. I answer the following questions: how well has the author achieved the overall purpose of the book? What contribution does the work make to an existing body of knowledge? I show that it is a precise, multi-faceted, complete study of domestic animals in the Polish language and culture.
