This article present the lithic assemblage from the epigravettian workshops from Piekary IIa sector XXII layer 5, obtained in 2000. This small sector of the huge flint workshop was located on the top of promotory above the Vistula valley, in the western part of Tyniecka Gate near Kraków. It was used for exploatation of the local raw material brought from the victiny of the site. The inventory consist of 6 cores, 618 flakes, 119 blades, 5 burins and 1370 minute fragments of flint. Presented flint material characteristics indicate its strong workshop character, but in other sectors of the site there are some features of a post-domestic material with large amount of tools, mostly of burins type. The cores represent diverse forms in terms of morphology, preparation and exploatation technique of individual specimen. It is a result of the lack of an uniform preparation stage in the whole technological process. This inventory very closely resembles the material obtained from sector XIX of the Piekary IIa site, and has the close analogy with the Kraków, Spadzista Street site, especially area B+B1 layer 5.
