Navigating through them, especially by those with mobility impairments, should be equally as important as exquisite land developments. Otherwise, the disabled are left unable to access that refined infrastructure. In order to address that cities are undertaking tangible measures aimed at increasing mobility of disabled city dwellers.

In this article the spatial policy has been analyzed, in terms of the use of local spatial development plan as a management instrument in the selected small Polish town covered, in a significant part, by Natura 2000. The restrictions resulting from the location of the area covered by Natura 2000 may in several cases block the possibility of different investments. Consequently, the role of local development plans as basic instruments of spatial management on a local scale should be resolving these conflicts and the establishment of such a zoning area appropriation which would be in accordance with the environment requirements as well provide economic growth. This article will analyze local plans passed for small town in the years 2004-2011, their purpose, area, application and local along with regional importance.

The article discusses the role of bio mapping, a method for receiving information about people reactions, while implementing urban logistics projects. It mentions the factors on which procedures of creating emotion maps are based including virtual space, perceived urban space and negative emotions areas in urban space. Further it presents an emotion map that was created using emotion metering equipment.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie znaczenia rewitalizacji dla zrównoważonego rozwoju miast (sustainable urban development). Artykuł zwraca szczególną uwagę na środowiskowe aspekty rewitalizacji. Główna oś analizowanych zagadnień oraz prezentowanych doświadczeń i projektów jest związana z rolą przyrody i zieleni w środowisku miejskim. Należy jednocześnie podkreślić wielowymiarowość kwestii, które powinny być brane pod uwagę w działaniach rewitalizacyjnych. Intencją zaakcentowania potrzeby "zazieleniania" projektów rewitalizacyjnych w Polsce jest marginalizowanie znaczenia publicznych terenów zielonych. Dzieje się tak pomimo obowiązywania konstytucyjnej zasady zrównoważonego rozwoju, która to zasada powinna dotyczyć wszelkich działań rozwojowych prowadzonych przez wszystkie szczeble administracji publicznej, w tym zatem i działań rewitalizacyjnych.
