The paper is a critical edition of Wacław Potocki’s series of poems centered around the Lithuanian coat of arms „Pogonia”. The poems come from a verse book of heraldry:  The Coats of Arms of the Nobility of the Polish Crown and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, published in 1696. The transcription of the works is accompanied by explanations of a multifaceted character.

Stefan Żywotko’s oral history account is a story about almost one hundred years of Polish history from the perspective of a person who was a football player and coach. His account includes, among others, the themes of the interwar Lviv, the II World War, post-war Szczecin, the beginnings of football in Western Poland, and a story about Algeria in the 1970s and 1980s. It is also an interesting source about this person, who has been very successful in sport but is not widely known in Poland.

Relacja biograficzna Stefana Żywotki jest opowieścią obejmującą niemal sto lat historii Polski. Jest to historia opowiedziana z perspektywy niegdysiejszego piłkarza nożnego i trenera. W narracji znajdziemy m.in. tematykę międzywojennego Lwowa, II wojny światowej, powojennego Szczecina, początków piłki nożnej w zachodniej Polsce, a także opowieść o Algierii z lat 70. i 80. XX w. Jest to również niezwykle interesujące źródło wiedzy o Stefanie Żywotce – osobie odonoszącej wiele sukcesów na boiskach piłkarskich, lecz szerzej nierozpoznawalnej w Polsce.
